 Course Description

This course presents a practical approach to systems analysis using a blend of traditional development with current technologies

 

Course Objective

The objective of this course is to enable students to:

  • Understand the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Understand how IT supports operational & business requirements.
  • Understand new trends affecting systems development.
  • Solve practical problems in systems design.
  • Understand how a systems analyst interacts with management, users, and IT professionals.

 

Course Methodology

This course will be taught through a combination of slides, lecture, and hands-on practice.

During the semester, students will work together on class assignments.

 

Writing Statement

While the principle goal of this course is the acquisition of knowledge in the subject area of the Internet, students should be aware that BHCC requires that clear and effective writing be an integral part of the learning process.
